Leslie Gaddis joined Lifetime Asset Management in January 2018 as a Financial Planning Assistant. She spent the first part of her career life as a Geographic Information Systems specialist for a natural gas utility, but in 2016 decided to pursue her passion for personal finance and financial planning. Leslie enrolled in the Duke University Executive Certificate in Financial Planning, where she met fellow LTAM executive team member Alan King. She completed the program in May 2017, and passed the CFP© Exam in July.
Leslie was born in Silver Spring, Maryland but raised in Durham from a young age. She graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, and then travelled just down the road to complete undergraduate studies in Biology and Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Leslie has also earned a Master of Arts in Geography from UNC Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration at North Carolina State University.
Leslie lives in Durham, where she enjoys indulging in all the great restaurants the city has to offer and attending the Broadway Series and other events at the Durham Performing Arts Center. She regularly practices and occasionally teaches Ashtanga and vinyasa yoga. She also enjoys travelling both in the US and overseas, having visited a number of countries including New Zealand, Greece, Italy and Costa Rica.
Leslie has recently started volunteering at Families Moving Forward, providing monthly cash flow management workshops for homeless families to aid the transition to a stable home. She is also a member of the Triangle chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
