Executive Team Member
Leslie Gaddis, CFP®, CSLP®, MBA CPO, Wealth Consultant, Managing Partner
Leslie Gaddis joined Lifetime Asset Management in January 2018 as a Financial Planning Assistant. She spent the first part of her career life as a Geographic Information Systems specialist for a natural gas utility, but in 2016 decided to pursue her passion for personal finance and financial planning. Leslie enrolled in the Duke University Executive Certificate in Financial Planning, where she met fellow LTAM executive team member Alan King. She completed the program in May 2017, and passed the CFP® Exam in July. Leslie became LifeTime’s Chief Planning Officer in April 2022.
Leslie was born in Silver Spring, Maryland but raised in Durham from a young age. She graduated from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, and then traveled just down the road to complete undergraduate studies in Biology and Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Leslie has also earned a Master of Arts in Geography from UNC Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration at North Carolina State University.
Leslie lives in Durham, where she enjoys indulging in all the great restaurants the city has to offer and attending the Broadway Series and other events at the Durham Performing Arts Center. She belongs to a close-knit yoga and meditation community, and attends belly-dancing classes at a local rec center. She also enjoys traveling both in the US and overseas, having visited a number of countries including New Zealand, Greece, Italy, and Costa Rica.
Leslie recently joined the board and serves as treasurer of Triangle Area Parenting Support (TAPS), a non-profit aimed at empowering caretakers, parents and guardians to build healthy, resilient families. In the past, she has volunteered at Families Moving Forward, providing monthly cash flow management workshops for homeless families to aid the transition to a stable home. Leslie is also a member of the Triangle chapter of the Financial Planning Association.
