Aline Dawson relocated from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Triangle in 2005. During her career she held a variety of IT Management positions for several Fortune 50 companies including IBM, Apple, Xerox and Cisco Systems, Inc. She holds a BA in Business Administration from The University of North Texas. She retired from Cisco Systems, Inc in 2017. Upon retirement Aline became involved in the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Duke program. Since Fall 2018 she has taught an OLLI course exploring housing options as we age. The course provides an overview of Aging in Place and Aging in Community and includes a deep dive of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) in the Triangle area.
